On July 17th at 1:00am We were hit by a drunk driver while we were driving home from South Carolina. Jenny was driving the car and Brandt was asleep in the passenger seat. Thank goodness we were both wearing our seatbelts. The drunk driver was traveling the other direction when he lost control of his car and drove through the median and came into our lane and hit us.Our car slid and then rolled sever times before stopping on the side of the road. Brandt could open his door so he came over to my side and pulled me out of the window since my door was smashed in. Luckily there were no broken bones. I got to ride in an ambulance because my leg hurt But I was released a few hours later. I only have to use crutches and wait for the muscles in my leg to go back to normal. Brandt was lucky and only had what looked like a rug burn on the back of his neck. Needless to say that makes it a lot easier to take care of me and the apartment while I am recouperating. We thank the Lord for watching out for us while we were traveling. We would also like to thank all of you that have showed us your love and support since the accident. It really means a lot.
